The Mammoth Tusk Celtic Tree of Life pendant is hand carved from Siberian woolly mammoth tusk material that is between 10,000 and 20,000 years old. It is approximately 1 1/4" tall (without bail) by 1 1/8" wide. Bail is sterling silver.
Celtic symbol meaning: The branches reach to the heavens, and the roots into the earth. The Celtic Tree of Life is thought to symbolize the balance between heaven and earth, or the spiritual and the physical.
Note: Because each piece is hand carved from a different piece of mammoth stock, there are some variations in size and color.
